Demonstration in Österlen, Scania, Sweden - May 8, 2011
On Saturday, May 7, 2011, the Swedish energy giant Vattenfall opened a windfarm with 9 wind turbines near Hammenhög, only few kilometres from the coast of southern Sweden.
On Sunday, the company had an open house for the public. A little local protest group had a demonstration outside the place for the open house. EPAW was there, represented by its spokesman for the Nordic and Baltic countries, Peter Skeel Hjorth.
At the open house arrangement, Vattenfall had special entertainment for children like riding on ponies, obviously to learn them that children and animals can live side by side with big wind turbines without problems. This strategy reminded about propaganda to children in the former Soviet.
"Smart" questions to children about wind turbines.

Many parents came with their children to let them ride on the ponies. The children had a good time with the small horses.
