On the occasion of the D-Day anniversary, The "Fédération Environnement Durable" (FED) and "Basse Normandie Environnement " (BNE) denounce the absolute silence around the giant offshore wind farm project, off the beach of Normandy, where 10,000 soldiers were killed or wounded on 6 June 1944 to liberate France.
The Fed and BNE ask the President of the Fench Republic, François Hollande, and the Minister of Ecology Ségolène Royal, to announce to all international delegations, hosts of France, that dozens of giant wind turbines will be planted in the middle of largest marine cemetery in the world.
Discovering the desecration of such a global sanctuary, imagine for a second what would be the reactions of Eisenhower, Churchill and de Gaulle, if they were still alive ?
