Dear fellow anti-wind-fighters

We are free people of Slovakia, opposing the impact of unwise decisions of OUR representatives (State and EU). Living here, in beautiful landscape of mountainous region of Orava

with picturesque historical monuments embedded in healthy hilly forests,

WE DO NOT WANT TO ALLOW solely-profit-oriented interests of Wind Industry to destroy what we inherited from our ancesters – beauty of ORAVA Highland.

Legislative wholes in our county´s law allows western-backed wind developers to push the approval process quickly by persuasive methods of „money“ in poor villages like ours. The mayors of the villages are willing to sacrifice the value of the turistically attractive countryside and its landscape just for few „cents“ into village budgets.

The mayors and village deputies here, are easily fooled by false arguments of developers saying that „WHOLE WESTERN WORLD IS HAPPY HAVING WIND FARMS“.

We, as free-minded people of the Orava Highland, are asking you, our fellow co-fighters, to send us LETTERS OF SUPPORT expressing shortly your negative experiences with wind farms in your vicinity.

We want to show these letters of support to our mayor and village deputies in our region. We want to make sure they understand, this ANTI-WIND MOVEMENT is not just a local „craziness“, but worldwide crusade for the sane and really cleaner tomorrow.

They are willing to implant 13+ wind monsters in these unrepeatably beautiful forests:
